Coding Program

STEMquest coding program is designed for young learners 6 years and up. Using the visual coding platform Scratch, the program introduces children to the fundamentals of computer programming in a fun, engaging, and highly creative way.

Through storytelling, game design, and animation, students not only learn to code, but they also learn to express ideas, solve problems, and bring their imagination to life. Learn, Create, Play, and Grow with Coding

How does the Program Work?

STEMquest Coding program is a dynamic, skill-building program designed to help students develop proficiency in coding while creating their own games, animations, interactive cards, and more using Scratch.

The curriculum is structured into 3 progressive skill levels, where students will advance through increasingly complex concepts. As they complete each task, students move closer to earning badges that celebrate their achievements, boosting both their coding skills and their confidence. Upon completing all levels, students are awarded the prestigious title of Master Coder.

Learning to Code and Create

At STEMquest, students are not passive learners, they are creators. They’ll learn to:

  • Design and code their own interactive greeting cards, storyboards, and mini games

  • Use visual code blocks to control movement, logic, and sound

  • Understand programming concepts like loops, events, conditionals, and variables

Hands-On and Interactive Learning

Children learn best by doing, and that is what STEMquest coding is all about.

  • Every class includes active coding time

  • Students see the results of their efforts immediately

  • They’re encouraged to experiment, take risks, and learn from mistakes

The interactive nature of the program ensures deeper learning and greater retention of key concepts.

Why Start Young? The Long-Term Benefits

Introducing coding early is a powerful investment in a child’s future. Early exposure:

  • Develops adaptability and technological confidence

  • Strengthens academic performance, especially in math and science

  • Builds readiness for future STEM learning, including robotics and AI

  • Encourages a mindset of exploration, curiosity, and resilience

Even if a child doesn’t pursue a STEM or Tech career, coding helps them become a capable, creative thinker prepared for a world shaped by innovation.

Strong Foundation for a Bright Future

This program serves as an excellent foundation for children interested in pursuing advanced coding, game development, or computational thinking. Whether used as a stepping stone to competitive programming or as a way to nurture a love for technology, Coding offers invaluable skills for the future.
