Behavior Policy for all attending STEMquest

At STEMquest, we provide a safe, engaging environment focused on mental stimulation through hands-on activities like robotics, coding, and STEM experiences. Our programs require students & campers to work in group settings and follow instructions.

1. Safety and Respect:

Students & campers must treat others with respect. Any behavior that is violent, aggressive, or poses a safety risk (towards staff or peers) will not be tolerated.

2. Group Activities:

All students & campers must participate in group activities. We do not offer one-on-one support, and students & campers are expected to engage with others in a group setting.

3. Behavioral Redirection:

If a student/camper does not participate appropriately, we will make two attempts to redirect their behavior. If unsuccessful, they will be sent home.

4. Individual Attention:

We do not have staff trained to manage special needs or provide one-on-one support. Students/ campers who require additional attention or cannot participate in group activities will be sent home.

5. Immediate Removal:

Any camper who engages in violent or harmful behavior or behavior that disrupts the class for other students will be sent home immediately.

6. Care for Materials:

STEMquest provides valuable materials like robotics kits, laptops, and large screens. Any aggressive behavior towards these items will lead to two redirection attempts before the camper is sent home. Damaging equipment intentionally will result in further action.

By attending STEMquest, students/campers and their guardians agree to follow this policy. The same is reiterated and stated in the Waiver as well. Thank you for supporting us in creating a positive and safe environment for all students/ campers!
