Conduct and Behaviour Policy

STEMquest Conduct and Behaviour Policy
At STEMquest, we provide a safe, engaging environment where children explore robotics, coding, and hands-on STEM activities. Our programs are group-based and require campers to follow instructions, engage with peers, and respect the learning environment.
1. Safety and Respect
Campers must treat peers, staff, and equipment with respect. Violent, aggressive, or unsafe behaviour will not be tolerated.
2. Group Participation
All campers are expected to participate in group activities. STEMquest does not provide one-on-one attention or instruction. The need to provide one-on-one attention to a camper would leave others unsupervised, which is unfair and unsafe.
3. Behavioural Redirection
Staff will attempt two redirections for inappropriate behaviour. If a camper continues to disrupt the class, prevent others from participating, or ignore instructions, they may be sent home.
4. Individual Attention & Special Needs
We do not have staff trained for special needs. Campers who cannot safely or independently participate in group activities will be sent home.
5. Immediate Removal
Any camper who is violent, disruptive, or repeatedly interferes with others’ participation may be sent home immediately.
6. Care for Materials
Campers are expected to handle all robotics kits, laptops, tablets, and screens with care. 2 warnings will be provided incase of aggressive behaviour toward materials, and immediate removal for intentional damage.
By attending STEMquest, campers and guardians agree to follow this policy. Thank you for helping us maintain a safe, focused, and positive environment for everyone!
