How long is a birthday party?

2 hours (75 minutes of STEM activities + 45 minutes for refreshments)

Do I have access to all STEMquest activities at a Birthday party?

No, not all experiences are included in every package. You will have access only to the activities that are part of the specific birthday type you select.
Is set-up and cleanup included?

Yes, we understand that planning a birthday party can be stressful, so let us take care of everything while the children play and learn. Our team will ensure your child's birthday celebration is unforgettable and fun!
Do you provide food and beverages?

We partner with The Dough Bros Pizza to make food planning as easy as possible. Parents can choose from party packages directly at The Dough Bros, and they will deliver fresh, delicious pizza/nuggets/pogo/burgers/fries straight to STEMquest! This option takes the stress out of food prep and planning, allowing you to focus on having fun. Of course, you’re also welcome to bring your own food, as long as it is nut-free. This helps families choose what they want, how much they want, and where they want it from. It also helps us focus on our expertise and ensure that your children play and have fun.
Can we bring our own decorations?

At STEMquest we can accommodate a small bunch of balloons that you can bring along with you. No Decoration must be put on the walls or stuck to surfaces at STEMquest. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate large decorations, as the space is reserved for activities, and obstacles would interfere with our equipment.
Can I add/ subtract children from my list after I book my party?

Yes, you can. When you book a birthday party, you pay a deposit towards the minimum number of children as part of that package. You can bring fewer than the minimum number if you wish to, the cost will NOT be reduced. Your final bill will account for all additional children that attended including siblings, beyond the minimum number of children as part of that package.
Do you offer a loot bag option for children attending my child’s party?

Yes, we do offer a loot bag option making sure we take away the stress of party planning from you and let you enjoy that special day with your child. We may not always offer this additional service, as our focus is on providing an exceptional STEM experience. However, we will do our best to keep options available for you to choose from. Our goal is simply to help families who need extra support in planning their party. What are the Party Pre-requisites?

STEMquest waivers: All participants must have a valid, completed, and signed STEMquest waiver prior to entering STEMquest for any experience. Those under the age of 18 years old must have a valid, complete, and signed waiver from a parent or legal guardian before they enter STEMquest for any experience.
Do you have a cancellation policy?

Yes, we do have a cancellation policy. Please refer to the policy at www.stemquest.ca/cancellation-refund-policy
Do you provide a table and chair setup and decorate the party room?

The party room has a table and bench for children to enjoy their refreshments. You are welcome to bring your own food and any materials needed to serve it to the children attending the party. Additionally, you are welcome to bring a balloon bouquet to enhance the atmosphere. You can place these decorations either in the party room or right by the entrance.
When do I need to confirm the number of children attending my party, and does that affect my billing?

You don’t need to worry about changes to the RSVP list. The package you select has a minimum number of children, and any additional children will be accounted for based on the actual sign-ins on the day of the party. The billing is based on the minimum number of children, plus the number of children who actually attend the party. While we do require a list of children attending in advance to cross-check waiver submissions, it does not have a direct impact on your billing.
Do we charge parents to accompany their children to birthday parties?

No, parents accompanying their children to a birthday party are not billed. However, entry is limited to one parent per child. An exception is made for the birthday child, who may have two adults accompany them.
Are siblings charged at birthday parties?

Yes, all children over 12 months old are charged. The final bill will include every child who attended the birthday party, even if they were not on your original guest list, but participated in the event.
Will the birthday party host supervise the children at the party?

No, the birthday party host is not responsible for supervising the children's behavior. Adults attending the party are responsible for monitoring and managing the children's conduct. Children must be supervised by adults at all times. Any aggressive behavior or damage to STEMquest property will result in the child being removed from activities to ensure the safety of others.
